Brake and Tire Technician (2nd Shift)
About the role
We’re looking for a Brake & Tire Technician with a minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience to join Carvana, the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500.
You’ll perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires and performing routine inspections and maintenance such as brake pads, calipers, rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments.
At Carvana, you’ll work in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers using state-of-the-art tools.
Responsibilities
- Perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance (e.g., brake pads, calipers, rotors, tire installations, wheel alignments)
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools—must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license (some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records check)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Use of safety equipment, including but not limited to face shields or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective garments and equipment

$19–$23 per hour

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM
