BPO Insurance Licensing Director
About the role
MCI is seeking an experienced BPO Insurance Licensing Director to support Property and Casualty business process outsourcing accounts. The ideal candidate will manage licensing and registration of new and existing insurance professionals, oversee representative terminations, exam windows, insurance appointments, and processing maintenance requests. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with federal and state regulatory agencies, managing licensing fees, and assisting with terminations and exam windows.
Responsibilities
- Work with specialists and managers to assist agents in obtaining their insurance licenses.
- Communicate requirements with internal teams and follow up when necessary.
- Ensure fingerprint requirements are followed.
- Verify applicants' forms are completed accurately.
- Communicate with state regulators about state-specific requirements and/or the status of state registrations.
- Manage licensing fees and ensure waiver processes are followed correctly.
- Ensure the processing and completion of registered individuals' terminations are done on time.
- Assist specialists and managers in ensuring appropriate exams are taken, and the results are recorded.
- Verify data in various computer systems for representatives, advisors, and employees, including change requests for addresses, contracts, etc.
- Ensure annual renewal and terminations of registration are in compliance.
- Answer securities and advisory questions from advisors, support staff, and employees.
- Manage the onboarding of registered employees.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred; a high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 8 years of securities, insurance, or other related work experience.
- High-level knowledge and experience in the management of large-scale licensing requirements.
- Professional designation (CPCU/CIC/AAI/CISR) preferred.
- Able to analyze information and determine appropriate action.
- Work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Skilled in effective verbal and written communications.
- Ability to be at work on a regular and predictable basis.
- Effectively communicate courteously and professionally with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in person, via telephone, and/or by email.
- Function as a team player.

Pay
Starting compensation is based on experience, and we offer a variety of benefits and incentives to support and reward our team members.
Schedule
The role operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
