About the Role

Equinox's locations in Nashville, TN are seeking Boxing Instructors. This role focuses on delivering the Equinox Experience to members through high-energy, structured classes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox Experience in each class, adhering to the class description while modifying intensity for participants as needed.
• Continuously monitor exercise intensity throughout the class to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Start and end classes on time.
• Teach classes on a regular schedule, minimizing the need for substitutes.
• Communicate with the Group Fitness Manager regarding member feedback, equipment status, operational needs, scheduling, and subbing.
• Stay well-versed in basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, and exercise modifications for all populations.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and education.

Requirements

• Current certification in Boxing instruction.
• Prior experience teaching group fitness classes.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Friendly, vibrant, outgoing, and energetic personality.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
