Job Description
Operates a box truck that transports used beverage containers and store supplies to and from specified destinations. No CDL required.
- Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick‑up of goods to ensure timely service.
- Loads, secures and unloads cargo (up to 50 lb packages).
- Maintains radio or telephone contact with dispatcher for instructions and schedule changes.
- Maintains logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Box Truck Driver.
- A valid driver’s license with a “satisfactory” driving record.
- Familiarity with GPS devices.
- Ability to lift heavy packages, up to 50 lb.
- Availability to occasionally take weekend shifts.
- Polite and professional disposition.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g., rush hour).
- High school diploma.
Pay
$23.00 per hour plus overtime.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
