Box Office Operations Attendant

About the role

Tampa Bay Sun FC is Tampa Bay’s first professional women’s team! We are beginning our 3rd season and are looking for box office operations staff to assist with our ticket operations on game days.

Responsibilities

• Aid customers by selling admission tickets.
• Accept payment and make change before giving tickets to customers.
• Operate handheld ticket scanners and collaborate to resolve ticket scanning issues.
• Provide accurate answers concerning events, tickets and schedules of upcoming events in person or on the telephone.
• Deal tactfully, helpfully and professionally with the public to provide event information and accurately complete ticket transactions.

Qualifications & Experience

• SeatGeek knowledge, preferred but not required.
• Box office experience, preferred but not required.
• A high school diploma or G.E.D., required.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and as a team member.
• Ability to work weekends and nights on an event to event basis.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• Bilingual, preferred but not required.

• Must be able to pass all background and safeguarding checks.
• Must be available to work Tampa Bay Sun FC home matches.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some computer knowledge.
