Box Office Attendant - Midland Theater

About the role

The Box Office Attendant assists customers with ticket distribution and provides general information about the venue or event. Additional responsibilities include supporting the Box Office Manager, managing will call, and answering telephone inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with using ticketing software and purchasing tickets through various methods (cash, credit, vouchers).
• Manage will call and guest lists. Verify identification, distribute tickets, and resolve issues.
• Answer telephone inquiries regarding show and ticket information, provide additional venue/event details, assist with accessibility requests, etc.
• Accurately reconcile sales and will call receipts, provide sales/ticketing information to accounting and operations teams, and assist with show settlements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of related work experience
• Available to work varied shifts including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Experience with cash handling and other payment methods such as credit cards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience working in events and knowledge of the music industry preferred
• Previous experience working on a venue ticketing platform preferred

Pay

$12 - $15 per hour
