About the role

The Boutique Manager drives top-line sales and bottom-line profit, achieves all company initiatives, and leads a team of Stylists to deliver extraordinary customer experiences that consistently exceed overall sales and service expectations. The role involves managing resources efficiently to maximize productivity while meeting all standards of service, merchandising, and operational execution.

Responsibilities

• Create a ‘best of class’ selling environment by communicating and exemplifying Lafayette 148 brand standards.
• Maximize sales and service expectations to exceed company standards, creating initiatives to enhance sales and developing solutions for struggling performance.
• Lead the mindset that “recruitment” is everyone’s responsibility within the store to reduce open jobs.
• Provide leadership and customized coaching to Stylists through ongoing education and performance feedback.
• Oversee the creation and execution of local business development and marketing strategies.
• Maintain relationships within the community to meet and retain target customers and identify marketing opportunities.
• Actively seek input from customers to measure satisfaction and ensure consistent adherence to service standards.
• Ensure merchandise is presented following corporate visual, marketing, and operational directives and standards.
• Proactively communicate with the buying team regarding customers’ requests and merchandise opportunities to drive business.
• Manage store control-related operational processes, including inventory shortage, loss prevention, sell-through performance, store expenses, audits, and payroll.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 6+ years of retail management experience, including 2+ years in the designer/luxury sector.

Skills

• Highly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability to develop, plan, and execute strategies to maximize opportunities.
• Proficiency in utilizing available technology, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holiday schedules.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $95,000 – $115,000 annually. Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, and location.
