About the role

Reporting to the Regional AVP, you will manage and enhance a boutique with a focus on developing sales, growing the sales team, and maintaining a high quality of service. This role involves strategic and financial planning, team leadership, client development, and representing Van Cleef & Arpels at events both domestically and internationally. Extensive travel (up to 50%) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Project and produce sales as defined in the store action plan, aligning with short-term and long-term strategic and financial objectives.
  • Spearhead management and strategic development, including High Jewelry initiatives.
  • Maintain the integrity of the Van Cleef & Arpels brand image in the store's market.
  • Identify talent, define career paths, and promote advancement while supervising boutique team members.
  • Generate new clients and develop innovative business ideas.
  • Represent Van Cleef & Arpels at meetings, events, charity dinners, and other functions in the U.S. and abroad.
  • Manage optimal inventory levels and model stock in coordination with the Supply Chain Department.
  • Initiate activities for new product launches, events, and market visibility to increase net sales.
  • Assist in developing store personnel's performance goals and provide management updates through reporting mechanisms.
  • Deliver the highest levels of customer service to support sales growth.
  • Attend international functions such as Codir Des Codir, Maison Committee, Retail Conferences, SIHH, and High Jewelry trips with senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree in business preferred.
  • Multi-unit or high-volume experience, ideally in luxury retail or hospitality.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, domestically and internationally.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to endure long periods of standing.
  • Fluency in French or Mandarin is a valuable asset.
  • Valid work authorization for employment in the USA.
