BOS Operations Control Center Duty Manager

About the role
The Operations Control Center (OCC) Duty Manager is the central point of communication for the daily operation and the operational decision maker for a given shift. The OCC Duty Manager tracks aircraft movement of our customers, communicates movements to operating departments, logs daily flight activity, solves problems, proactively manages the operation including manpower, ensures compliance with Swissport safety regulations and SOPs, and communicates with both internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily flight activity between all Operating Departments at BOS.
- Communicate all daily flight schedule changes to all affected Operation Departments and reallocate resources to facilitate on-time departures.
- Ensure all Swissport controllable services are completed for an on-time departure.
- Communicate with all levels of management, operating departments, customers, and other agents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Proactively manage the operation.
- Perform administrative duties related to the operation.
- Ensure daily flight activity logs are accurate for proper invoicing.
- Make operational decisions.
- Optimize the use of ramp staff for flight activity coverage.
- Work with other team members to solve problems and make decisions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree a plus, but not required.
- Operation’s management aptitude.

- 1 to 3 years’ experience in an airport operations environment.

- Understanding of ramp operations.

- Able to follow processes and procedures while applying a flexible approach when required.

Pay
$70,000 - $75,000/yearly
