Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy construction projects.
- Performs manual work such as excavating and filling trenches and ditches.
- Maintains a clean job site by picking up all tools and equipment and securing the site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
- Performs materials handling and storage.
- Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials.
- Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
- Participates in pipe rehabilitation and sliplining activities.
- Provides assistance to Foremen and other Supervisors as needed, including mixing, pouring, and spreading materials, erecting and stripping form work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License Required.
- 2+ years of heavy construction experience preferred.

Pay
Starting salary depends upon prior work skills and experience.
Schedule
Normal days and hours of work are Monday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with time provided for lunch, hours may vary. Work may be local or out of town in which case overnight stays are required and per diem is paid. This position frequently requires long hours. Some overtime is anticipated.
