Bookkeeper - Payroll and A/P - NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care Center

About the role

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential financial records, ensuring proper accounting of business transactions, and safeguarding company assets by adhering to established procedures. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of financial transactions and reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Formal bookkeeping training or education preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable team player with a strong work ethic
• Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
• Experience processing payroll and accounts payable transactions
• Familiarity with general ledger functions and basic accounting principles
• Experience with UKG or similar payroll systems preferred
• Proven ability to handle reporting timelines and respond to internal and external inquiries
