Yugo, formerly Campus Advantage, is now part of a global student housing operator with nearly 40,000 beds across 88 properties in 28 states. This role is based at Republic at Sam Houston.
About the role
This full-time, on-site position supports accounts receivable and payable, rent collection, eviction processes, vendor management, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include handling delinquent rent deposits, coordinating with collection agencies, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of all accounts receivable, including posting rent, lease fees, late fees, and utilities.
- Monitor and follow up on bad debt: prepare late notices, contact residents/guarantors, and file evictions.
- Post charges to resident and non-current resident accounts, including utility bill-backs where applicable.
- Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
- Maintain accurate, organized records and audit resident files.
- Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Attend court hearings if needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
- Associate degree in accounting preferred, or 2 years’ experience in student/multi-family housing, or equivalent education/experience.
- Strong computer literacy and advanced proficiency in MS Office.

Pay
$18.00 per hour.
