About the role
The Bookkeeper operates within the Travel Group Luxembourg (TGL) network, supporting multiple leisure-travel agency brands and a large agency network across Luxembourg and the Greater Region. This role ensures financial record integrity with a focus on maintaining clear separation between confirmed facts, pending dependencies, and exceptions. All actions and decisions must reflect the specific operating environment of TGL’s network.
Responsibilities
- Perform focused bookkeeping, including invoice review, within the TGL network context. Ensure each checkpoint documents the source, owner, status, and next action.
- Maintain TGL LU role documentation with status tracking for bookkeeping tasks, ensuring visibility of source, owner, status, and next steps.
- Reconcile financial records with deadline management, adhering to a bookkeeper-focused workflow.
- Coordinate documentation with reporting, ensuring traceability and clarity in the TGL network context.
- Review quality control and workflow management to surface repeated errors before they result in downstream rework.
Requirements
- Confidently use TGL LU Workflow Context and Financial Records to support bookkeeping tasks within the TGL network.
- Apply data accuracy while maintaining evidence and meeting deadlines in a focused bookkeeping workflow.
- Document process compliance and issue escalation decisions to ensure reasoning remains clear in the TGL network context.
- Exercise judgment in follow-up actions, particularly when bookkeeping depends on external confirmations rather than assumptions.
- Pass the role-specific handoff test, which includes source verification, invoice review, and issue escalation within the TGL network.
Pay
Base salary: $43,000–$65,000 per year.
Schedule
Full-time, 100% remote within the United States.
