QuickBooks BookkeeperLocation: Naugatuck, CT areaJob Type: Full-Time, On-SiteSalary: $52,000–$65,000 per year, depending on experience Our client, a CPA firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable QuickBooks Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on QuickBooks experience, a background in bookkeeping/accounting for a professional services related company, and an interest in working in a public accounting environment. In addition to managing bookkeeping responsibilities for clients, this position will assist with the preparation of individual income tax returns during tax season. We are looking for someone who is organized, professional, and comfortable balancing multiple client accounts and deadlines. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records for a variety of clients.Perform bookkeeping, including recording transactions, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and maintaining general ledgers.Utilize QuickBooks to manage client books and financial information.Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures for clients.Assist with the preparation of individual income tax returns during tax season.Gather and organize client tax documents and financial information.Communicate professionally with clients regarding bookkeeping records and required documentation.Support the accounting team with additional duties as needed.QualificationsHands-on experience with QuickBooks is required.Prior experience in bookkeeping/accounting or the professional services industry is required (1+ years).Experience working in a bookkeeping firm or CPA firm is strongly preferred.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Professional communication and client service skills.Willingness to assist with individual tax return preparation during tax season.Compensation and BenefitsAnnual salary of $52,000–$65,000, depending on experience.Medical, dental, and vision benefits.Retirement plan benefits.Paid time off (PTO).Please apply today to Daniele.Zavarella@roberthalf(com) Hands-on experience with QuickBooks is required.Prior experience in bookkeeping/accounting or the professional services industry is required (1+ years).Experience working in a bookkeeping firm or CPA firm is strongly preferred.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Professional communication and client service skills.Willingness to assist with individual tax return preparation during tax season.
