Responsibilities
- Count and record the weekend offering (as part of a two-person team) and prepare the weekly bank deposit
- Process giving across all channels in Planning Center and Overflow
- Manage accounts payable — review and approve bill coding, process payment requests, reconcile credit cards
- Reconcile bank and card accounts and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online
- Keep vendor files, documentation, and audit support organized and current
Requirements
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (AP, reconciliations, data entry)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Meticulous accuracy and complete discretion with confidential financial information
- Reliable on-site availability, including Mondays following weekend services

Details
- Part-time, ~20–25 hours/week, on-site in Katy, TX
- Hourly / non-exempt; pay depending on experience
- Reports to the Central Business Operations Pastor, with day-to-day direction from the Controller
- All staff are expected to be or become members of Newlands Church
