Bookkeeper

Lee & Associates Houston is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks using QuickBooks and Yardi
• Support the financial team in providing timely, accurate financial reporting
• Manage data entry for accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) within core software systems
• Process vendor invoices and accurately track tenant payments in Yardi and QuickBooks
• Prepare bank deposits and handle outgoing mail to the post office
• Generate and distribute tenant letters and account statements
• Assist the Property Management department with active tenant collections using property management tools
• Collect, process, and distribute daily office mail
• Scan, organize, and systematically file all accounting records

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of AR/AP experience
• Proficient proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
• QuickBooks experienced is required
• Previous experience with Yardi property management software is highly preferred
