What You’ll Do
- Record and categorize all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and receipts, into the general ledger.
- Manage incoming invoices, process vendor payments, and track customer payments to ensure steady cash flow.
- MATCH bank and credit card statements with internal records monthly to resolve any discrepancies.
- Calculate employee wages, manage tax deductions, and ensure timely, compliant payroll distribution.
- Prepare basic financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Aid in the preparation of tax forms (e.g., sales tax reports, 1099s) and maintain organized digital and physical files for future audits.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online) and automate routine data entry tasks to improve office efficiency.

What You Bring
- A high school diploma or GED required; an Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Minimum three years of proven experience in bookkeeping or as an accounting clerk.
- Mastery of QuickBooks Online and advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas).
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and basic tax regulations.
