They are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team and provide accurate, timely bookkeeping support for multiple clients. About The Company Established CPA firm with a diverse client base Collaborative and professional work environment Opportunity to work with a variety of businesses and industries Client-focused team that values accuracy and strong relationships Bookkeeper Responsibilities Maintain accurate books and records for multiple clients Record and classify daily financial transactions, including income and expenses The Bookkeeper will manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets Post journal entries and make necessary account adjustments The Bookkeeper will assist with month-end and year-end close activities Review general ledger accounts for accuracy and resolve discrepancies Prepare financial reports and bookkeeping schedules for clients and internal use Assist with sales tax filings and other accounting-related reporting Communicate with clients to obtain financial information and resolve bookkeeping questions The Bookkeeper will maintain organized and accurate client records and supporting documentation Qualifications Of The Bookkeeper Role 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a CPA firm or public accounting environment QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online experience preferred Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statements Experience with multiple clients or entities preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Bilingual in Spanish and English required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
