Bookkeeper

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $70,000 to $74,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records by processing accounting transactions and updating general ledger information. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities including invoicing payment processing and account monitoring. Perform bank account and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial data accuracy. Support payroll administration employee record maintenance and benefits related activities. Assist with month end year end reporting tax filings and administrative projects as needed. Requirements 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in a professional environment. Demonstrate proficiency with QuickBooks Online and accounting software applications. Possess strong Excel skills including data analysis and spreadsheet management functions. Maintain the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Support accounting and administrative functions within a small business or growing organization. Qualifications Apply exceptional attention to detail when maintaining financial records and processing transactions. Demonstrate strong organizational and problem solving skills in a fast paced environment. Communicate effectively with management vendors customers and team members. Maintain professionalism discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
