Bookkeeper/ Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant / Bookkeeper for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established HOA community in Sarasota. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong accounting foundation who enjoys variety, working independently, and interacting with people throughout the day. ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable and accounts receivablePerform account and bank reconciliationsAssist with general ledger activityMaintain accounting records in QuickBooks OnlineProcess ACH payments and transfersHandle light payroll through ADPAssist with annual maintenance fee updates and related accountingAnswer incoming phone calls and assist with general office needsGreet and assist residents, vendors, and prospective buyers/rentersMaintain and help improve office procedures and documentationProvide additional bookkeeping and administrative support as needed Experience with QuickBooks Online preferredPrevious experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, bookkeeping, or general accounting supportStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsFriendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with the publicAbility to work independently and manage multiple responsibilitiesComfortable working in a small office environmentOpen to Accounting Assistant-level candidates who have a solid accounting foundation and are eager to grow into additional bookkeeping responsibilities Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
