Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Possesses a passion for safety and follows all safety rules to maintain a safe work environment.
- Achieves team production goals by adhering to operational and quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Fabricates, assembles, reworks, and repairs products according to Master Work Instructions (MWI) using precision instruments, hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.
- Cuts material to size using various cutting tools and instruments.
- Mixes ingredients according to formulas, either manually or using a mixer.
- Sets up and operates forming machines and presses, or laminates plastic cloth and resins onto layup molds or bonding fixtures to shape parts.
- Wraps bonding fixtures or molds in vacuum bagging materials, attaches necessary fittings, and exhausts air from vacuum bags to prepare parts for curing or bonding.
- Verifies dimensions of parts using precision instruments like dial indicators, micrometers, and calipers.
Experience And Education
This is an entry-level position requiring no prior work experience. Previous manufacturing experience is a plus!
Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent GED.
Requirements
- Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs.
- Good hand dexterity.
- Significant walking, bending, and standing required.
- Ability to meet and exceed production and quality standards daily.
- Understanding of basic math calculations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings.
- Excellent communication skills, including fluency in written and verbal English.
- Must be a US person.
