Bond Accountant 2

About the role

The Office of Finance is seeking a dedicated Accountant (Bond Accountant 2) to support financial operations related to bond series and agency expenses.

Employees in this position are required to work on-site at OHFA's offices located at 2600 Corporate Exchange Drive, Columbus, OH 43231.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schedules to support financial statement numbers for assigned bond series
• Prepare financial statements for assigned bond series
• Pay disbursements related to bond issues, Single-Family expenses, and prepare trustee and banking partner letters for investment purchases
• Maintain database for trustee extract files and transactions, interest rates on variable rate bonds and swaps, bond paydowns, and investment purchases
• Prepare reports used by the group, such as month-end reports from US Bank, investment and bond balance totals, remarketing, and liquidity contract information

Requirements

• 36 months of training or experience in accounting
• OR completion of undergraduate core program in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or public administration; AND 12 months of training or experience in accounting
• OR equivalent of the Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above

Pay

$26.54 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
