Bombardier, Aircraft Maintenance Technician - Weekend Shift - 1502

Full-time on-site position in Chattanooga, TN, USA.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems
• Remove and install panels and components
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve aircraft system/component issues
• De-fuel aircraft
• Remove and install engines
• Operate ground support equipment
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components
• Assist in aircraft movement, performance runs, and taxiing
• Maintain and repair shop facility, equipment, and tooling
• Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases
• Communicate effectively in English (speak, write, read)
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or valid passport (ideal but not mandatory)
• Self-motivated team player able to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance, including overtime and weekends
• Adherence to Federal Aviation Administration guidelines and company safety rules
• Customer-oriented work habits

Qualifications

• AMT I: Airframe or Powerplant license (Airframe preferred); 0–2 years of aviation maintenance, avionics, or similar experience; close supervision required
• AMT II: Airframe or Powerplant license (Airframe preferred); 2–4 years of aviation maintenance; corporate-aircraft experience preferred; general supervision on routine tasks
• AMT III: Airframe license required, Powerplant highly preferred; 4–6+ years of aviation maintenance; corporate-aircraft experience highly preferred; full knowledge of general, detailed, and special assignments
• AMT IV (Master): Airframe and Powerplant license required; 6+ years of aviation maintenance; extensive corporate-aircraft experience; subject-matter expert in all job areas

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50 lbs
• Routine walking, bending, squatting, or sitting
• Repetitive arm and hand motion
• Climb ladders and stairs; work in small, restricted areas
• Stand for long periods

• Understand and implement regulations and guidelines
• Troubleshoot and evaluate system operation
• Work professionally with others

Working Conditions

• Hangar environment with extreme temperature variations
• Outdoor work during aircraft runs
