About the role
This position offers a unique opportunity to work with some of the most advanced civilian aircraft in the world, performing a variety of mechanical tasks and troubleshooting issues.
Responsibilities
- Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
- Removal and installation of panels and components.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues.
- Engine removal/installations.
- Operating ground support equipment.
- Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
- Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/taxiing.
- Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling.
- Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements
- A High school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
- AMT I: Airframe or Powerplant license is required. Airframe license is preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience working in aviation maintenance, with experience on corporate aircraft preferred but not essential.
- AMT II: Airframe or Powerplant license is required. Airframe license is preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience working in aviation maintenance, with experience on corporate aircraft preferred but not essential.
- AMT III: Airframe license is required; in addition, Powerplant license is highly preferred. 4-6+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance, with experience on corporate aircraft preferred but not essential.
- AMT IV (Master): Airframe and Powerplant license is required. 6+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance, with extensive experience on corporate aircraft platforms.
Qualifications
- Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
- Self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to get to work each day.
- Work under supervision of assigned Team Leader and Director of Maintenance.
- May be directed to supervise other technicians in some capacity.
