Position Summary

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for ensuring compliance with procedures outlined in manuals, FAA regulations, and manufacturer's instructions. They perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various corporate aircraft.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Ensure repairs are done according to approved methods and specifications.
  • Plan and coordinate activities to minimize delays and increase efficiency.
  • Complete work in accordance with manufacturer's maintenance and repair instructions and FAA regulations.
  • Exercise care to protect parts and assemblies from loss or damage.
  • Ensure repair station forms are properly completed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of shop working areas.
  • Ensure proper tools and equipment are available and maintained.
  • Communicate with lead technicians about work progress.
  • Perform airframe and powerplant repairs, inspections, and modifications.
  • Remove and reinstall defective parts, conduct tests, and interpret technical manuals.
  • Signed off discrepancies with complete information including part numbers, maintenance manuals, ATA and Chapter numbers.
  • Promote a positive attitude and assist when necessary to meet completion and production schedules.
  • Avoid injury and health risks by following safety precautions and using available protection devices.
  • Identify and address employee issues and concerns.
  • Have work inspected by an appropriately rated inspector after completion of each task.
  • Participate in strategizing and implementing new maintenance tactics.
  • Provide leadership and communication to subordinates and employees.

Education and Experience

  • Five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (Preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in aircraft maintenance inspections and repairs.
  • Strong understanding of 135 and 145 repair station operations/regulations.

Other Requirements

  • Clean driving record.
  • Able to pass a background check.
  • Able to pass a drug screening test.
  • Willing to work off-site, if needed.
  • Willing to work weekends, if needed.

Salary Description

$30 - $45/HR
