Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems
• Removal and installation of panels and components
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve aircraft system/component issues
• De-fuel aircraft
• Engine removal/installations
• Operate ground support equipment
• Inspect and evaluate the aircraft and components
• Aircraft movement and assist in performance runs/taxiing
• Maintain and repair shop facility, equipment, and tooling
• Use basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases
• Effectively and clearly communicate (speak, write, read) in English
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory
• AMT I: Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred. 0–2 years of experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, or similar. Limited to moderate knowledge of general maintenance aspects; requires close supervision of general maintenance tasks.
• AMT II: Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred. 2–4 years of experience in aviation maintenance. Experience on corporate aircraft preferred but not essential. Considerable knowledge of the job and general maintenance aspects; requires general supervision on routine maintenance and more detailed instruction for new or special assignments.
• AMT III: Airframe license required; Powerplant license highly preferred. 4–6+ years of experience in aviation maintenance. Experience on corporate aircraft highly preferred but not essential. Full knowledge of general, detailed, and special assignments in aircraft maintenance.
• AMT IV (Master): Airframe and Powerplant license required. 6+ years of experience in aviation maintenance. Must have extensive experience on corporate aircraft platforms. Subject matter expert in all areas of the job.
• Self-motivated team players able to perform in a fast-paced environment where working under specific deadlines and time constraints is common
• Attend work every day as scheduled, including overtime and weekend assignments; notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work
• Reliable transportation to get to work each day
• Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines
• Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties
• Maintain customer-oriented work habits

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Routine walking, bending, squatting, or sitting
• Routine or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands
• Climb ladders and stairs; work in small, restricted areas
• Stand for long periods of time

Mental Requirements

• Understand and implement regulations and guidelines
• Troubleshoot or evaluate system operation
• Work with others in a professional manner

Supervision

Works under the supervision of the assigned Team Leader and Director of Maintenance. May be directed to supervise other technicians in some capacity.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a hangar environment subject to extreme temperature variations from very cold to very hot. Work outside during aircraft runs will occur. Varied positions in and around the aircraft.
