About the role

We are seeking a Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in healthcare billing, preferably in a long-term care setting, with supervisory experience and strong Medicare/HMO billing skills. A bachelor's or associate's degree in business or accounting is preferred, along with knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and relevant laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems of internal control are in place and operating satisfactorily to safeguard facility assets.
• Maximize cash flow and meet company accounts receivable targets.
• Act as a financial liaison between corporate departments and other staff (accounting, reimbursement, etc.), supporting effective audit and compliance efforts.
• Understand and implement healthcare reimbursement, billing, and accounting principles.
• Control and track direct spending and labor budgets.
• Lead the Business Office with a focus on excellent customer service and dedication to each individual’s unique talent.

Requirements

• 2-4 years’ experience in healthcare billing, preferably in long term care environment.
• Supervisory experience.
• Strong Medicare/HMO billing experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, billing, and accounting principles.
• Understanding of nursing practices, procedures, and relevant laws and guidelines.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree from an accredited college with specialization in business or accounting.
• Nice to have: Public Notary certification.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay

$76k to $83k based on experience.
