Boilermaker in WA

Stellar Maintenance has partnered with a leading mining contractor to recruit experienced Boilermakers for ongoing 2:1 site-based opportunities across WA. You’ll be responsible for repairs, fabrication, and maintenance across a diverse fleet of mobile and fixed plant equipment, working within an established maintenance team and high-performing mining operation. With consistent work, a broad equipment fleet, and long-term opportunities available, this is a great option for experienced Boilermakers looking for their next FIFO role.

Responsibilities

• Complete boilermaker repairs, fabrication, and maintenance across mobile and/or fixed plant equipment.
• Carry out welding, cutting, gouging, fitting, and fabrication work to required standards.
• Inspect plant and components for wear, cracking, and structural damage and complete required repairs.
• Complete maintenance and repair work accurately in line with site and quality requirements.
• Work as part of a skilled maintenance team using industry-leading tooling and processes.

Requirements

• Australian-recognised Boilermaker trade qualification required.
• Minimum 2 years+ post-trade Boilermaker experience in Australia.
• Mobile Plant experience - CAT excavators (30T), 988 loaders, CAT C9, C13 and C15 industrial engines, CAT Bobcat, Isuzu trucks, Franna, and EWP; AND/OR
• Fixed Plant experience - Terex Finlay 1480 jaw crushers, Terex Finlay 1550 cone crushers, Warrior 2400 screens, and stackers.
• Strong welding, fabrication, and repair skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to complete pre-employment requirements.
• Currently have full Australian working rights.
• Relevant High Risk Work licences are highly regarded.
