Body Shop Technician - Ed Morse Delray Cadillac, Delray Beach, FL

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and repair of foreign and domestic vehicles to dealership specifications.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Meet productivity and efficiency numbers.
• Meet cycle time requirements for completed repairs.
• Maintain an organized and safe bay according to dealership, OSHA, and EPA standards.
• Keep personal work area, shop, and tools clean and safe.
• Learns new technical information and techniques through formal training classes.
• Utilizes appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 + years of verifiable experience in the collision repair shop industry.
• Complies with manufacturer and dealer safety guidelines and standards.
• I-CAR and/or ASE certified preferred.
• Car-O-Liner Frame measuring experience.
• Works effectively as part of a team providing high quality Customer Service.
• Repetitive use of hands for simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, ladder and stair climbing, and occasional crawling, twisting and lying.
• Materials needing to be lifted and/or carried may weigh up to 50 pounds.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
• Willingness to submit to a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen.
