Body Shop Technician !
Essential Responsibilities
- Repair damaged vehicle bodies and structural components per estimate and OEM specifications
- Perform structural and frame damage repair using specialized equipment and tools
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs as required for vehicle restoration
- Perform welding and fabrication work to repair or replace damaged components
- Check all parts and materials against repair estimate to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare vehicles for body repair work including protection and masking
- Notify supervisor/manager of any additional damage or repairs needed beyond estimate
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of collision repair or body shop experience
- 5 years of practical hands-on collision repair experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven ability to independently diagnose and repair structural collision damage
- Knowledge of collision repair processes and OEM repair specifications
- Ability to operate and maintain collision repair equipment and tools
- Experience with welding and frame straightening equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of formal collision repair or automotive technology program
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent
- Experience with commercial truck and bus repair
- Experience with Kenworth, Peterbilt, Freightliner, or other commercial platforms
- OEM certifications from manufacturers (Navistar, PACCAR, Freightliner, etc.)

Qualifications
