Body Shop Painter - Yakima, WA

Summary Of Duties

• Uses all tools of the trade, shop machines, power tools, and welders.
• Maintains these along with his personal tools.
• Reads and understands estimates of repairs and technical publications, including service manuals and service bulletins.
• Writes a good description of all work performed on each individual repair.
• Uses or learns to use the computer to punch on and off repair orders.
• Performs repairs in an accepted time standard.
• Able to perform all tasks in a safe manner.
• Able to use and train helpers in a productive manner.
• Able to follow Bruckner’s policy and procedures.

Essential Job Tasks

• Preforms bodywork while there is not any paintwork.
• Mixes and matches paint color.
• Completes painting of entire motor truck.
• Maintains all components parts and lists and orders all needed parts.

Marginal Tasks

• Clean up, steam clean, salvage yard, etc. as related to business.

Work Experience

• Three years minimum experience at the wreck repair trade.

Education:

• High school or equivalent.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to take continuing education courses as deemed necessary.
• Ability to speak English for this job and safety reasons.
