About the Role
Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Body Imaging Radiologist at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health, a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital. The facility provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, state-of-the-art surgical services, and a Health & Wellness Institute offering outpatient services. The hospital maintains strong academic affiliations with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine, upholding high standards of healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
- Interpret a broad range of Body Imaging studies, including Body CT and MRI examinations.
- Interpret general radiology studies, including X-rays, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
- Perform and interpret fluoroscopic examinations.
- Provide consultative support to referring physicians regarding complex Body Imaging cases.
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and collaborate with clinical teams on patient care.
- Participate in departmental peer review, radiation safety initiatives, and continuous quality improvement programs.
- Provide teaching and guidance to residents, fellows, and medical imaging technologists, as applicable.
- Participate in departmental clinical coverage and rotating call responsibilities.
