Bodily Injury Adjuster - UM/UIM Severe/Complex Represented Litigation - Remote (EST)

About the role

This position is responsible for investigating moderate represented claims, particularly uninsured or underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) claims in single or multi-car accidents, and represented moderate or major claims. The individual may also handle complex CPL claims or specialized claims such as business interruption, loss of income, E&O policies, etc.

Responsibilities

• Takes recorded statements
• Solves loss of use claims
• Makes payments to appropriate parties
• Negotiates and settles or refers bodily injury issues that cannot be resolved

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in liability investigations, bodily injury claim evaluations, and negotiation
• Casualty claim handling experience is required
• Previous experience with UM/UIM bodily injury claims handling
• Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone
• Ability to work independently and remotely, while managing time efficiently
• Familiarity with insurance policies, coverage, and liability determination
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to evaluate and negotiate injury claims successfully
• Knowledge of innovative tools and platforms for effective claims evaluation

Qualifications

Pay

$53,500.00 - $84,625.00 annually
