Boat Washer/Detailer

The Boat House of Door County is seeking an individual to join their team and contribute to the success of both the team and the company's image. This position is crucial for maintaining the boats and facility in a pristine condition.

Responsibilities

• Conduct any customer interaction with courtesy and respect.
• Prepare boats for delivery by thoroughly cleaning the boat both inside and out, paying attention to all surfaces.
• Keep stock boats clean and ready for customer inspection.
• Aid the Service Department in cleaning service boats as needed.
• Organize boats on the lot using a forklift and other vehicles as required.
• Follow safety rules and wear appropriate protective gear.
• Advise supervisors when boats require additional work.
• Perform tasks efficiently, using necessary supplies without overuse or waste.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized at all times.
• Assist in general yard cleanup as directed.
• Maintain equipment/tools in good working order and notify supervisors when repairs or replacements are needed.
• Clean buildings and service trucks as directed.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of boat shows as directed, including hauling boats, placing them at the show, cleaning both the boats and the surrounding area, and returning boats to assigned locations.
• Attend all assigned meetings.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Physical ability to lift and move boats and equipment.
• Knowledge of boat maintenance and cleaning techniques.

Pay

The compensation for this position is based upon experience.
