About the role

Regal Boats is seeking motivated and experienced Manufacturing Leads to support various areas within our production operations. This role provides hands-on leadership, technical support, and team guidance within an assigned manufacturing area based on experience, skill set, and business needs. Manufacturing Leads may support areas including boat assembly, lamination, and Resin Transfer Molding (RTM)/infusion. While responsibilities will vary by assigned department, all Manufacturing Leads ensure safe operations, maintain Regal’s quality standards, support team development, and help achieve daily production goals. This position combines technical manufacturing expertise with daily leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead within the mission of Regal and positively impact others through teamwork, accountability, and servant leadership.
• Provide hands-on support and technical guidance within an assigned manufacturing area, including assembly, FRP, lamination, RTM, infusion, or other production operations.
• Ensure team members have the necessary tools, materials, equipment, and training needed to complete work safely and effectively.
• Train, coach, and support team members on department-specific processes, quality expectations, and proper work procedures.
• Communicate daily production priorities, expectations, and challenges to team members and Team Leaders.
• Monitor production activities to ensure work is completed according to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Identify process improvements and partner with leadership, engineering, and support teams to resolve issues.
• Assist with developing team members through coaching, feedback, and skill development.
• Promote a positive work environment focused on safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with all Regal safety procedures, including proper PPE usage and safe manufacturing practices.

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within marine, composites, fiberglass, assembly, or related industries.
• Ability to train, coach, and support team members in production processes.
• Strong understanding of quality standards and manufacturing expectations.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide direction to a production team.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, drawings, and production documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Must follow all Regal safety standards and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Boat assembly (electrical, engine install, etc.).
  • Lamination.
  • Resin Transfer Molding (RTM).
  • Infusion processes.
  • Composite fabrication.
  • Fiberglass manufacturing.
• Previous experience as a lead, trainer, supervisor, or mentor in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot production concerns.
• High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to support a fast-paced production environment.

Work Environment

Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature, reaching over 100 degrees Fahrenheit at times.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time.
• Frequently required to climb into and out of boats using stairs.
• Must frequently be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Work 10-hour days with most of the time spent on their feet.
• Work overtime, whether planned or unplanned.
