Board of Commissioners – Professional Member
Company Description
The National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM) is a non-profit 501(c)(6) organization founded in 1982, dedicated to validating entry-level competency in acupuncture and herbal medicine through professional certification. It is the only national organization that provides this level of validation, supporting licensure for acupuncturists in 43 states plus the District of Columbia, representing 98% of states that regulate acupuncture. NCBAHM's certification programs serve as a critical benchmark for practitioners, employers, and regulatory bodies seeking assurance of professional standards. All certification programs are accredited by the National Commission for Certification Agencies (NCCA) and carry the NCCA seal, reflecting NCBAHM's commitment to quality, integrity, and public protection.
