Job Summary

The Board Governance Manager supports the effective governance, operations, and strategic initiatives of the Board of Directors and its committees and commissions. This role serves as a liaison between the Board and committees, ensuring compliance with governance procedures, managing board-related projects, and promoting transparency to the membership.

Compensation

$41.06 per hour. Minimum required education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Organizational Leadership, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Minimum Required Experience

  • Five (5) years of experience building and maintaining effective working relationships with senior leaders, boards, or governing bodies.
  • Five (5) years of experience working in an office environment.
  • Five (5) years of experience working in project management.
  • Five (5) years of experience working with Tribal Policies and Procedures.
  • One (1) year of experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must be an enrolled Tulalip Tribal Member.
  • WA State Driver License (Personal Auto Insurance).

Terms of Employment

This is a regular Full-Time position.
