What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the function of challenging behaviors and inform interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) that align with students’ IEP goals.
- Provide direct, evidence-based behavior analytic services to students in classroom and pull-out settings.
- Collect, monitor, and analyze behavioral data to evaluate progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of behavior supports.
- Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and school staff on data collection procedures and positive behavior strategies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute behavior-related recommendations and progress updates.
- Offer crisis intervention and support for students exhibiting severe or unsafe behaviors.
- Design and deliver professional development sessions on applied behavior analysis best practices.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in ABA and school-based behavior support.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- A valid BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certification.
- An active state BCBA licensure or certification in the state where services will be provided.
- Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs in educational settings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- The ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced school environment.
- A commitment to positive, student-centered behavior support approaches.
