Key Responsibilities
- Client Assessment and Development: Conduct thorough assessments to identify individualized goals and interventions for each client, collaborating with parents and caregivers to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Treatment Implementation: Deliver ABA-based therapy services to children with ASD, utilizing evidence-based strategies to improve communication, social, and adaptive skills
- Data Collection and Analysis: Accurately collect and analyze client data to inform treatment decisions, monitor progress, and make adjustments as needed
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open lines of communication with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care
- Continuing Education: Stay current with best practices in ABA, attending training sessions, workshops, and conferences to advance knowledge and skills
Requirements
- Education: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in ABA settings, with a focus on autism spectrum disorder
- Certification: Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) certification
Location
Must be willing to travel to clients' homes in the Newark, NJ area
