Position Overview
As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will oversee Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities. You will conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), collaborate with families, and ensure high-quality clinical care while maintaining BACB ethical standards. This position offers a high level of clinical autonomy with a supportive leadership team dedicated to your success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Design, implement, and monitor ABA treatment plans
- Develop skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
- Analyze treatment data and make data-driven clinical decisions
- Supervise, train, and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians (BTs)
- Complete caregiver and parent training sessions
- Conduct regular treatment plan reviews
- Administer standardized assessments including: VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, LSL-PEAK
- Collaborate with families, schools, physicians, and interdisciplinary providers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and insurance compliance
- Ensure services meet BACB Ethics Code and Maryland licensing requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Active Maryland Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license (or eligible for licensure)
- Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field
- Experience providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
- Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Experience creating and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Experience supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or Behavior Technicians (BTs)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Reliable transportation for local travel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Experience with insurance-funded ABA services
- Familiarity with CentralReach or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Experience providing caregiver coaching and parent training
- Leadership or mentorship experience
