About the Role

A behavioral health consulting engagement is seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral assessment, intervention planning, staff training, and program consultation services for youth in a residential care environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
  • Develop evidence-based Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
  • Monitor behavioral outcomes and intervention effectiveness
  • Analyze behavioral data and modify plans as necessary
  • Train care providers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide consultation on behavioral management strategies
  • Participate in treatment planning meetings
  • Collaborate with clinicians, educators, and support staff
  • Support transition planning and continuity of care
  • Ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related discipline
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs
  • Experience working with children and adolescents
  • Experience in residential treatment, child welfare, congregate care, or intensive behavioral health settings
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
  • Experience training multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience with crisis prevention techniques
  • Experience working in collaborative treatment environments
  • Quality improvement and program evaluation experience

Schedule

  • Part-time consulting engagement
  • Up to 25 hours per week
  • Standard business hours availability preferred
