Schedule

8 AM - 4 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay

$85,500 - $91,000 based on experience.

About Our School

Marklund Day School is a non-public state-certified school that partners with area school districts to provide a highly specialized education experience. The therapeutic, sensory-driven Multi-Needs Program serves individuals ages 3 through 21 with medical, developmental, and physical disabilities. Through the Life Skills Program, teachers and paraprofessionals provide individualized functional curriculum and supports for students who are diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum, specific learning disabilities, and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Functional Analysis Assessment and Functional Behavior Assessments
  • Write and implement behavior plans
  • Create appropriate data collection systems to track student progress
  • Report quarterly on behavior goals and data included in a student's IEP
  • Facilitate weekly behavior support meetings
  • Provide ongoing coaching and training within and outside of the classroom
  • Train and supervise classroom Registered Behavior Therapists (RBTs)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field (required)
  • Master's Degree (preferred)
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification with a supervisory endorsement (required)
  • Experience working with students with multiple needs and autism (required)
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and meet its functional and environmental requirements
