Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

About the role

Sawtelle Lawnridge provides intensive behavioral interventions for children, ages 5-21, with developmental and intellectual disabilities (including autism and co-occurring behavioral disorders). YCS is seeking a highly motivated, professional BCBA for a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Participate in initial consumer interviews/assessments.
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments.
• Develop Behavior Support Plans & data collection systems.
• Train staff in implementation of Behavior Support Plans and recommended strategies.
• Monitor and provide support for staff in use of ABA strategies and procedures.
• Train families in implementation of Behavior Support Plans and recommended strategies.

Requirements

• BCBA Certification
• Experience required: 1 - 3 years of experience working with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
• All new hires are required to attend a 3-day orientation: Monday-Wednesday 9:00am-5:00pm, upon hire.
