Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer and define behavioral assessments, and monitor progress through data collection and analysis.
  • Design and implement skill acquisition programs and positive behavior support strategies.
  • Observe clients across settings to ensure treatment consistency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with treatment teams during IEPs, team meetings, and case reviews.
  • Train, model, and consult staff on behavior intervention strategies.
  • Assist with crisis intervention planning and provide consultation on critical incidents.
  • Maintain documentation, including clinical notes, progress summaries, and billing records.
  • Support quality audits and participate in program development.
  • Supervise direct support staff and provide ongoing training and feedback.
  • Maintain caseload in accordance with BACB guidelines (focused and/or comprehensive).
  • Support education administrators with staff evaluations and corrective action planning specific to behavior intervention practices.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
  • Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field.
  • Prior experience with individuals with autism and/or behavioral challenges.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with data collection and behavioral assessment tools.
  • Basic computer skills and documentation proficiency.
  • Ability to travel independently between locations.
  • Capacity to perform light office duties and physical interventions if necessary.
  • Valid driver’s license.
