Job Summary

We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team of talented professionals. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for observing patients, developing individual plans to correct or improve behaviors, and administering treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Observe patients and assess their behavior
  • Meet with families, teachers, or doctors to discuss treatment and progress
  • Develop individual plans to correct, maintain, or improve certain behaviors
  • Create simulated conditions to observe client behavior and formulate treatment plans
  • Administer treatment and tailor interventions as needed
  • Suggest additional treatment by other professionals as required
  • Operate within time, financial, and other resource constraints
  • Remain abreast of changes in research on evidence-based practices
  • Advocate for the inclusion of individuals with disorders and disabilities within society

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven work experience as a BCBA or similar role
  • Knowledge of appropriate referral procedures
  • Excellent verbal and report writing skills
  • Calm, empathic, and patient nature
  • Ability to remain composed and adhere to best practices, even when under duress
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a BCBA

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (Required)
  • BCBA certification (Required)
  • LBA certification (License by the North Carolina Behavior Analyst Licensure Board) (Preferred)
