What You’ll Do

  • Conduct Assessments: Complete initial ABA assessments for children with autism and developmental disabilities.
  • Gather Meaningful Information: Use caregiver interview, observation, record review, assessment tools, and clinical judgment to understand each child’s needs.
  • Create Treatment Recommendations: Develop individualized treatment recommendations based on the child’s strengths, needs, family priorities, and medically necessary service level.
  • Complete Assessment Reports: Write clear, thorough, and timely assessment documentation that supports clinical quality and payer requirements.
  • Collaborate With the Team: Work with clinical leadership and internal team members to support a smooth handoff from assessment to treatment planning.
  • Maintain Clinical Quality: Ensure assessments are completed with professionalism, accuracy, and attention to each child’s unique needs.

We’re Looking For

  • A BCBA who is clinically thoughtful, reliable, responsive, and strong in assessment and documentation.
  • Current BCBA certification required
  • Virginia LBA required, or willingness to obtain before starting services
  • Advanceable ABA reimburses the cost of obtaining the Virginia LBA
  • 1+ years of ABA experience preferred
  • Experience working with children with autism and developmental disabilities
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and treatment-planning skills
  • Strong communication skills with families and internal team members
  • Ability to complete timely, high-quality clinical documentation
  • A collaborative and quality-focused approach
