Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated BCaBA to join our Kansas City team providing in-home ABA therapy services. Under the supervision of a BCBA, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, collect data, and serve as a key clinical resource for our RBT staff. This role is open to both full-time and part-time candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by supervising BCBAs
- Provide direct ABA therapy to pediatric clients in their home environment
- Collect, record, and summarize behavioral data accurately and consistently
- Assist in conducting skills assessments and preference assessments
- Train and provide feedback to RBTs under the direction of the supervising BCBA
- Communicate effectively with families regarding client progress and programming
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with payer and company requirements
- Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing training
Requirements
- Active BCaBA certification in good standing with the BACB
- Missouri BCaBA license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Strong data collection and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a home-based setting
- Reliable transportation to client homes in the Kansas City area
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising or mentoring RBTs
- Familiarity with CentralReach or similar ABA practice management software
- Experience with VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, or similar assessment tools
