Blowmold Machine Operator 1st Shift

About the role

Purity Dairy, a farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), is seeking an experienced Blow mold machine operator to maintain, break down, set up, and troubleshoot equipment while processing finished or raw materials. The role involves adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), communicating effectively with all departments, and meeting daily deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, break down, and set up Blow mold machines and related equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating issues
• Process finished or raw materials according to specifications
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure smooth operations
• Meet daily production deadlines

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks
• Physical ability to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and wet environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
• Exposure to dust, fumes, and cleaning chemicals may occur
