About the role
Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district and state standards.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Engage students in active learning through various teaching methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and support student success.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of exceptional needs students as per licensure options.
Requirements
- Valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR eligibility to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
- Knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
Qualifications
- Exceptional Needs: Mild Intervention covering appropriate grades or Exceptional Needs: Intense Intervention covering appropriate grades.
Skills
- Effective communication skills.
