About the role

Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district and state standards.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to enhance educational programs.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.

Requirements

  • Valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas.
  • Eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential if not yet licensed.
  • Knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.

Pay

  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

  • .5 contract 4 hours per day (can combine two .5 positions for a 1.0).
