About the role
Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district and state standards.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to enhance educational programs.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
Requirements
- Valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas.
- Eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential if not yet licensed.
- Knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
